Yay! Book 4 edits are finally done!!! 🎉

Dear Reader,

Great news! The latest round of edits on The Bloody Prince are done. I've shot the manuscript back to my editor. Which means, barring another round of catastrophic revisions, I will have a cover reveal and a release date for you in the next couple of weeks!

Sound the trumpets! Or at least the kazoos?

Aside from that, the only major news is that I'm going to be spending Easter this year with my sister and cutie-pie nieces.

The funny part is my mom asked me if I was planning to do that go a couple of weeks ago. I told her I didn't think so. There are lots of books to write and general author related business to get done and I just saw them at Christmas etc. etc.

Mom said, "Uh-huh."

A couple of days after that my friend Ms Melinda asked me about my Easter plans.

I gave her much the same story.

Ms Melinda said, "Uh-huh."

Then my sister called me a couple of days ago. She chatted with me about what was going on with her, updated me on the nieces, and then asked something along the lines of, "The girls are so excited to see their Aunt Eddy over Easter. Are you coming?"

And I said, "Uh-huh." and booked my ticket.

Which just goes to show that my friends and family know me much better than I do!

BOOK NEWS

The Bloody Prince edits are done! (Insert kazoo noises here)

Have now gone back to work on the rewrite of my first novel. In addition to being rewritten it has also been retitled and is now going by the acronym YAMFBI! (At least until I'm absolutely certain that's the title I'm sticking with.)

What do you think YAMFBI is short for? 😉 Best/most hilarious guesses will get a shout out in next week's newsletter!

Gez-Gez, my best friend's puppy and my fur-nephew, is a hilarious Dennis the Menace style Shih Tzu. And here he is cooling his little face in a mug of iced water left unguarded during the summer.
