I spent Easter in Italy and all you got was this lousy email 😉

Dear Reader,
I'm back from my Easter shenanigans in Italy! I cuddled my nieces, went for long lunches with my sister, played cards with my brother-in-law, toured the French Consulate to the Holy City, spent an informative three hours learning about the Colosseum, and hiked through the Tuscan hills.
In short, I need another vacation to recover from my vacation. But, seriously, I had the best time.
Cue photo montage set to Dean Martin's That's Amore!
Arrived in Rome and went to Cirque du Soleil with the world's cutest nieces!
Toured the Colosseum! See that maze of stone passages? They used to be hidden by a huge wooden floor. The ancient Romans used
to raise animals and stage props up from beneath it so it would look like they appeared by magic!
Went to the Italian countryside. This is my sister and brother-in-law's back garden where we'd have our afternoon cocktail.
My sister makes the best cocktails!
The nieces practiced their hair braiding skills on me.
I was great practice because apparently I have very "slippy" hair.
They certainly had more success braiding it than I ever
have!
There are lots of great walking trails in the region.
To walk off those afternoon cocktails we went up hill and down dale in the mornings!
Another shot with my favorite girls!
I've spent the last two weeks being one very happy aunty!
XoXo,
Edwina
