Seriously getting PoM #4 ready to go live has swallowed most of the last two weeks of my life. But for those of you who'd like an actual life update, here are some of the other highlights:

• Took a roadtrip to Orlando with Ms Melinda for Costal Magic readers conference. (Ms Melinda was a featured author and I went to help out as her fetcher/carrier/Book Bitch in Chief.) 
• Made detour on road trip and ended up World Equestrian Center AKA Horse Hogwarts. (My inner 14-year-old pony girl was in spasms of delight.)

but I was too busy staring around me in wide-eyed wonder!

• Reached Costal Magic convention where all the things happened. There was a giant murder mystery party where I was one of a small group of people figured out who the murderer was. (The smugness of this carried me for days.) And I got to watch Ms Melinda be brilliant on all her panels and sign many, many books and generally be appreciated for her awesomeness. 
• Did four--that's right FOUR--escape rooms with Escape Games between panels and events because Ms Melinda and I are both addicts and, no, we don't want help. (I recommend all Escape Games rooms except Mission: Mars. But I'm not going into that here because that is a looooong story,)
• Made the drive back home exhausted and happy and fell back into writing chair with a sigh of profound relief.
