Dear Reader,
To all the people seeing Taylor Swift in concert: you suck, I'm so jealous, and I hope you have had/are going to have the best time!
Quite a few of my friends have been off to worship at the alter of Her Swiftness this week. Going to concerts is one of my least favorite activities because it typically involves large crowds, loud noises, and being stuck in traffic for an insanely long time. Three of my hate-iest things.
But I still wish I'd sucked it up and bought a ticket anyway. Because TS gives 100% to everything she does and it's my loss that I'm not seeing that in person.
I've been thinking about that kind of effort a lot this week. There aren't that many people who give what they do their full 100%. The Steve Jobs, the Michael Jordans, and the Taylor Swifts of
this world.
I love what I do and I give it a lot, but I want to give more. So that's my take away from this lingering
regret: I'm going to double down, I'm going to work harder, I'm going to do more.
And the next tour Taylor Swift does? I'll
be there.
