Did someone say 💖NEW COVERS💖?!?

Dear Reader,

I'm in an odd kind of writer limbo right now. My excellent editor has charge of my manuscript and until she gives it back to me I'm on pause. The thumb-twiddling place between WRITE, WRITE, WRITE and EDIT, EDIT, EDIT.

You know what happens when I start twiddling my metaphorical thumbs? I begin to notice the state of the metaphorical house around me. By which I mean my website--which we will generously call a little out of date.

That, plus the fact that I have new covers for the Prince books... (YAY!!!)

The update with Amazon is still in process.

The ebooks are up, but print and audio are still in process.

Still I couldn't stand holding back from sharing with you guys anymore!!!

...means that I needed to poke around with my website anyway. And since I'm updating the covers, I'm going to have a fourth (or maybe fifth?) crack at fixing the contact form that still just refuses to collect email addresses. Then there's that issue I've been having with my audio books and, and, and...

And now my list of digital chores is approximately five miles long.

Seriously, how did that happen?

This is beginning to feel like the digital equivalent of the ongoing battle I have with my laundry basket. One moment, there's a totally reasonable amount of clothes in it. The next, some kind of sentient clothes-monster is threatening to emerge! A clothes-monster that's been blessed with the superpower to suck the will to live right out of me... Like an evil Cookie Monster that chows down on hope and joy, instead of chocolate chip cookies!

Though, speaking of cookies, I can actually bake some pretty tasty ones. And I haven't made them in ages... Hmmm, maybe I should go do that--

I'll see you on the other side of this digital chore avalanche, dear reader. At least, I hope so. Though if you see pictures of dozens and dozens of cookies next week, you'll know what happened!
