It's a week til book launch 🎉🚨

Dear Reader,

The edits for You Are My Favorite Bad Idea are done! Yay!!! It's officially ready for launch a whole week ahead of the release date. Laughs with relief and wipes sweat from brow. That's not cutting it close at all...

Now that Bad Idea is locked and loaded, I can focus on getting into launch mode. That's a lot of checking in with Amazon and GoodReads and Facebook and making a few TikTok videos. Which means I have to figure out how to describe Bad Idea in one sentence or less.

If you know anything about authors in general and me in particular, it's that descriptions of one sentence or less are not our friend.

Seriously, if I was good at one sentence or less this book would not be 140,000 words.

So, for your amusement, these are the log lines I'm currently working with:

Her life isn't a rom-com, it's rom-complicated.
Emily in Paris meets an episode of FRIENDS as a twenty-something New Yorker juggles work, family and romance with a little help from her friends.
Messy girl romance seeks messy girl readers.

Would any of these tempt you, gentle reader? Or should I go back to the drawing board?
