Want to know how I spent my time in Sydney?

Dear Reader,

Hello, how are you? It's, uh, been a while. The good news is I'm not dead! I just got back from Australia, where I had so much fun seeing family and friends. A little too much fun, maybe?

It was winter there, which meant most days were in the mid-sixties and it got dark around 5:30pm-ish. Imagine a crisp, sunny fall day in New York City and that's pretty close to what it was like most of the time.

Here is a photo tour of what's happened:

I cuddled up on the sofa and hung out with Mum a lot!

Went on a country adventure with Dad.

I helped herd cattle!

Visited an amazing bookshop.

Fed rainbow lorikeets!

Looking natural while out with with friends.

Finally trundled back to the States.

This is the customs line I was in the DFW airport.

It was a week after the global software glitch and they were definitely still recovering!

It was a great trip, but I'm happy to be back to the regularly scheduled writing program! (Especially as I've got an epic trip planned in September for a certain big birthday--eep!!!)
