Dear Reader,Â
Â
Happy happy holidays, dear reader!!! Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Joyful Kwanzaa, Righteous Oddly Dressed Housebreaker in a
Sleigh Night, or whatever other holiday you celebrate this season. Oh, and may the Force be with you.Â
Â
All jokes aside, I hope you have plans you are looking forward to this week! May you have good food, good company, and many good books to read!
Â
My plans? Why thank you for asking! I am not flying home this year, thanks to the month-long birthday trip to Europe I took in September. To make up for that lost time, I had big plans for making it a solo writing Christmas. I realize that may sound a little strange to non-writers, but I promise you I was looking forward to it!
Â
Then
my friend Ms Melinda's mother got wind of what I was planning and promptly nixed it. I will be joining their family for Christmas instead.Â
Â
And if you are asking: Oh, really, and how did your friend's mother change these plans you claim you were looking forward to so easily? It's simple. Little old ladies have a strange power over me. They say,
"Jump!" and I say, "How high exactly would madame prefer?"Â
Â
I blame Nanny. She conditioned me when I was too young to know better.
Â
Wishing you all the very best for this holiday
season!
