I'm back! Wow, it has been a fabulous, family-filled month! The trip down the Rhine River to Amsterdam with my mother was even
more wonderful than I imagined, and I had the best time extending the celebrations with my family in Rome! Cue the pic parade!
Â
Windmills in the Netherlands! Most of the agricultural land in the Netherlands exists below sea-level and the brilliant method they developed to keep those waters at bay is absolutely mind-blowing.
Â
I visited the Lindt Chocolate Factory in Cologne, Germany!
Â
Me accidentally photobombing myself on one of the tours. I mostly forgot to take photos of myself this trip so I suppose I should be grateful. 😂
Â
The Temple of Aesculapius in the Borghese Gardens in Rome!
Â
Taking my nieces to an escape room in Rome! Lucky for me they had all the clues in both Italian and English!
Â
I took approximately a million photos of all the things I saw and did this trip and cutting them down to just five was
physically painful. But I wanted to share the great time I had with you, not bore you senseless 😂 Look for more European adventure snaps in the Throwback Thursday photo for the next couple of weeks.

XoXo,

Â
p.s. As you know if you followed this newsletter for a while, I just moved from Tallahassee, Florida to Houston, Texas this month. I've been watching the tornados and damage from Hurricane Milton with my heart in my mouth. I hope you and everyone you know is safe!

BOOKMOVING NEWS
Â
Project Candlelight has been on hiatus for a month and will continue to be on hold while the move finishes up. I got back from Europe to find this waiting for me!
Â
Â
I love moving, don't you? 🥲
Â
Hopefully I'll be back into hardcore writing mode by early next week. Hopefully!

THROWBACK THURSDAY PIC
Â
I really fell in love with Amsterdam on this trip. It's one of the most beautiful cities I've ever seen, every person I met was kind and friendly, and every meal I had was absolutely delicious!
